Printing

In key stage one, children explore different printing techniques, including, monoprint and resist printing. They build-up techniques such as carbon and fabric printing and design their own repeating patterns. In key stage two, children begin to create more complex patterns including repetition and symmetry. Above, children have created a Collograph Print using cardboard and string to create their stamp, followed by press-printing their design into their sketch books.
