What are we?

“Parent Forum” is the parent teacher collaboration for Westleigh Methodist Primary School.

Who are we?

We are all volunteers, who are a mix of parents, carers and teachers from all classes across the school of Westleigh Methodist Primary School.

What do we do?

We meet together in order to create closer links between home and school. We discuss all aspects of school provision and encourage constructive feedback. We are perhaps better known for our fundraising work, where we raise funds to provide “extras” not already provided by the schools’ main income. We also organise social events throughout the year.

Why do we do it?

We do it so that we can enhance the education and experiences of all the children at Westleigh Methodist Primary School, making it a fun and memorable time, supporting and building on the fantastic work that the school does.

How do we do it?

We meet termly at 9.00am and we hold fundraising and social events during the school year

What would you like to see happen?

We always welcome new ideas and suggestions and are constantly trying to come up with different opportunities to raise some funds – no idea is too silly!
