Remote Learning

Dear Parents and Carers,

During a period of remote learning we aim to:

- Ensure that all children have access to the full curriculum.

- Ensure that every child has the ability to access work through either supported technology from school or through printer paper workpacks.

- Support the wellbeing of all children during this time.

To help us succeed with these aims the teachers will use our learning platforms to provide a high quality and engaging education for all. EYFS will use Tapestry, whilst KS1 and KS2 will use Class Dojo and Purple Mash. These online learning platforms will be used for communication and to set work for the children.

Your child will have the opportunity to access all subjects across the curriculum and this will be supported through pre-recorded videos from your class teacher or other experts with links to: Oak Academy, Bitesize, White Rose Math specialist. The teachers will offer daily timetables for the work for the day and will be on hand to support in anyway that they can.

If you need any support with the remote learning offer in place, please use your child's portfolio on their learning platform to contact the class teacher or alternatively call the school office on: 01942 702967.

We have conducted a questionnaire with all parents on your current access to technology and if you would need support if remote learning was to take place - if you feel like you need to update this information please contact the school office.

Thank you for your continued support in all that we do,

Mrs X Moragrega
